This precious school has made the biggest difference in the lives of my three kids, who are currently in 1st, 4th, and 7th. This place is family - it sincerely is. From the perspective of a parent with a master’s degree in education, NCCS is unmatched with regards to a commitment to Christian education, excellent academics, strong athletics, and a robust arts program. The teachers are top notch. My middle school son went from being a reluctant reader to naming Language Arts as his favorite subject - thanks to his amazing teacher! He initially wanted to come to NCCS so that his teachers would “care about him”— his words — and now he says they absolutely do. North Cobb Christian School is a true family. You feel it the moment you enter: The teachers, families and staff at North Cobb Christian School are the real deal!

North Cobb Christian School is the perfect school for any child. Academics are rigorous and provide a challenging environment for students to learn. Students learn to develop helpful study habits and become independent. However, students will never get left behind here. NCCS has dedicated staff who pour all of their time and energy into helping students. Whether a student is struggling grade-wise or emotionally, everyone is willing to help. Classes are small and there is a strong family-like atmosphere. There are many ways students can get involved, aside from standard student government positions. Students can speak in chapel, organize school events, and start their own clubs. NCCS is home to many traditions that give students the chance to grow close and experience great things. Middle through High school students go on a 3 day retreat in August and 8th-12th graders go on Spring Terms in March where students can go anywhere from Atlanta to Guatemala. You can’t go wrong with NCCS!
As a parent of two children at NCCS for many years now, we continue to be so happy with the school and the community. I am also always impressed with the administration and the leadership - yes, they get involved with the kids’ lives but that’s part of what we pay for. This school community is looking out for them like I do and it is from such a place of caring and love. Most teachers have been above and beyond and truly dedicated to their students. The athletics opportunities are fantastic also - competitive and getting better by the year but not so competitive that my children can’t make a team that they are not passionate about. They are given chances and opportunities that our local public school definitely would not be able to give them, especially my one child who has a tough time staying focused in a large group with distractions. The huge campus, technology and athletic improvements that have happened recently and are scheduled are very impressive.
