My step-son is in his second year at NCA and we are so pleased with his maturity and the academic and social gains he has made since attending NCA. He is a part of the NCA - University of Wisconsin Eau Claire "Early Pathway" program and in his first semester alone this year he has completed 5 university classes at UW-Eau Claire at no cost to us! The school seems well managed and well run. It is always spotlessly clean we notice, the teachers are professional, kind and experienced (ours son's favorite is the GREAT music teacher he has at NCA), and the dormitory staff and coaching staff has been great to him. We could not be more pleased with the school, and the bonus is that our son (like all US students) attends tuition free!

I am currently high school senior in North Cedar Academy and I really enjoy my time here. Safety, diversity activities, and academics are very important in this school. They have dual degree enrollment with UW Barron County and later guaranteed transfer program to UW Eau Claire. It creates a great opportunity for juniors and seniors in order to get their associate's degree and to earn college credits while they are in high school. Currently, I am enrolled in this program in order to earn college credits for my next year.
The only disadvantage about academics in this school is lack of AP classes. School offers only a few AP classes.
I have attended North Cedar Academy (NCA) for three years; for me it is my home away from home. At NCA I’ve always been learning not just academically. As an international school we try to include aspects of each culture. My favorite part of NCA is that they're very receptive to student input. For example, a lot of courses have been implanted into the curriculum because students were interested. The curriculum itself at NCA is rigorous, but the teachers are very nice and take the time to help you, if you take the time to ask. NCA has small classes, so teachers know each student by name and personality. The dual enrollment program has allowed me to clear out my general classes and had a taste of what to expect in college. Similar to NCA, the classes are small and you can get to know your professors. I believe that NCA has not just prepared me for college but also for life. However, NCA is what you make of it; I saw it as an opportunity, and I hope the same for the rest of the Eagles.
