North Canyon high school is a very diverse school, the administors try very hard to make the school and fun and safe learning environment. But we don't not have many sucsessfull sports teams except for the track team so it is hard to rally the school to a football team if the team isn't very good, that is where the school lacks school spirt and it really shows. If the school were to focus on the sports a little more and grow those programs and get them better I think it. would drastically raise the spirts of the school and even more students would be proud the be a rattler!

I graduated from North Canyon high school in the year 2017. My experience was filled with many great experiences including being a part of the schools orchestra. The schools facilities had a variety of instruments available to alumni and they were always well maintained. One issue that I had with the school was the inattentiveness of many teachers. Many would simply hand students worksheets and expect us to complete them on our own. Some would simply play videos rather that teach. There were however, a few teachers that greatly improved my experience by always being supporting and offering to help when needed. Despite this, the school had many great qualities and I am happy to have attended.
What I like the most about North Canyon High School is the AVID program and the administration. The AVID program has helped me majorly succeed throughout high school, has helped me make new relationships with people, and has prepared me for college. The administration, especially the principal and vice principal, are very funny and caring. They will always make time for the students who need them. All around, North Canyon is a very fun and inviting school!
