I am currently in the 1st semester of my 4th year at North Augusta High School. The school has been making progress in growing since I have became a student of the school. Throughout my experience of the AAAA school, I have noticed a number a positives and negatives about the school. My first two years, a number of the classrooms seemed to be in near poor condition(missing ceiling panels, blown lights, water leaks). Not only the classrooms, but the restrooms on the premises were not is great condition either(one did not have a working sink, one did not have a working lights). Aside from the physical condition, the administration itself did not seem to be most appropriate. Receiving information and having proper communication I found to be rather difficult through the administration at the school. However, overall the administration has been strong standing granted there is new upper-level staff leaving and coming in every year. Overall it is a strong standing school.
Review North Augusta High School
North Augusta high school definitely has school spirit. Every student looks forward to Friday night football games. Our principal doesn't like pep rallies. I really wish he would let us show how much we love our yellow jackets. I have also had some really good teachers. Some of them I will never forget. I appreciate all their help with preparing me for college. Our school is large, but we have a small town feel. We all know each other and love our school and our town.
Although North Augusta is a relatively small town, its high school is both large and extrememly diverse. Whether it be amongst the teaching staff or the students themselves, North Augusta High School is a combined mixture of outstanding academics, impressive athletics and school spirit that can never be beaten. Some of my favorite experiences are those in which the students simply come together for different events, uniting as a community and showing those around us the importance of teamwork. If given the change to choose another school, I would do absolutely nothing differently. The lessons learned and the experiences I was given are irreplacable.
