Norte vista gave me a great experience and provided many opportunities that are open to the school entirely. Other schools, as I’ve heard have to suggest students to taking advanced placement classes however at Norte Vista, students are given the opportunity to take on these challenging classes. The school is very accepting and very well rounded. Everyone has their groups and no students is left alone. The teachers are nice and teach very well, they definitely provide the right material to set up students for success. Sports and clubs are a great way to get involved, many of our sports are recognized such as, football, soccer, swim, and so on. As a norte vista student, you are challenged and learn more about your strengths and weaknesses and throughout the time attending the school you grow as an individual and as a part of the community.

What I like about Norte Vista High School was the community we have there. Most of the teachers at this school aren't the greatest, they aren't really helpful. The school isn't big on punishment and enforcing school protocol. I've not only heard but have experienced multiple counts of sexual harassment on school grounds. I would love for more action to be taken about acts like these. Overall the school is very inclusive of everyone. There are classes as well as clubs that help students and our community. The clubs deal with issues such as human rights and equality to helping the community. Overall this school is relatively good it just needs more focus on the students throughout the school and not in just specific clubs. I would that after my class graduates more people rise up to make changes that are needed.
I’m a senior at Norte Vista High School. I have attended this school since freshman year, in my opinion i think that Norte Vista is a great high school. Norte Vista has many programs that can benefit each students interest. For example, we have programs that help students out with getting jobs, getting ahead with college credits and etc. Norte Vista also helps students that are undocumented. For example, we have dreamers which help students that are undocumented with financial aid. Norte Vista also has many good clubs and sports. A club that Norte Vista has is best buddies & a popular sport that we have is football. Our football team usually go to CIF but we haven’t went all the way to the last few games.
