I mostly enjoyed my time at norris. The schools gives so many options for different education paths and helps students through everything. I was always supported by the staff and everyone truly cares about each other there. It is a smaller school which has its pros and cons. I loved that I knew everyone and was involved with everything, but it was hard to get away or meet new people if you wanted to. Overall the school spirit and energy that comes from norris is out of the park. These people come together to support one another through everything whether it be hardships or celebrations. I wouldn’t trade Norris High School for any other school. The small town aspect truly does make a difference in the bedt way possible.

I love my High School! It is small enough that you get to know so many people and be part of many different clubs, sports and activities. The teachers really take an interest in you and help you reach your academic goals. The School is always clean and I feel very safe at my school.
There is not much I would change, but one thing I would like to see addressed is to have our grading system scaled according to the difficulty of classes taken. Whether you take college level classes or not, the grading system is the same. So you could have a student taking all general classes and actually have a higher grade point average than a student who is taking all accelerated courses. Just doesn't quiet seem fair to the students who push themselves in the higher level classes. Other than that, I love my school.
Norris is a place I love to walk into every day. Seeing my peers and teachers can always put a smile on my face. Everyone is family at Norris. Most of us have gone to school together since Kindergarten, so when senior year comes around it's easy to interact with everyone. It is more than just learning at Norris. Being involved in sports and other extracurricular activities really makes my time at Norris enjoyable. If I could change one thing about the school I would require every student to get involved in at least one activity outside of the classroom.
