Norcross High school holds a very diverse student body that has a tons of academically determined students because of the IB learning program; however, there's also a handful of students who are unmotivated and slack off. I believe if we held higher standards and discipline students well, then they could perform well and be motivated to learn! While I was in high school, I was a student mentor so I was often surrounded not only by upperclassmen but underclassmen. I saw how the classroom was like the domino effect, peers act like the individuals who demonstrate unambitious behavior and those who raise their authority to the instructors. Aside from my internal behavior, I believe if I was externally surrounded by a more aspiring enthusiastic body of peers... I could have performed better academically, but also socially. Norcross Highschool still has a ton of work to do on it's students. Aside from that, I remember the football team being phenomenal!

I have gone to Norcross high school for all four years of my high school career. Academically wise Norcross provides great classes in varies levels so students can learn at several paces. There are classes in levels such as college prep (CP) , honors, advanced placement (AP), and IB classes. The teachers are equipped to teach tons of information that is useful to the students and helps them get through their high school years. The school spirit of Norcross highschool is amazing. Everyone shows out for all the games and cheers on the teams to glory. This leads to the extracurricular activities. There are over a dozen clubs and sports to join here that will get u pumping with school spirit along with earning some community service hours that will look great for college. Overall Norcross has been a good school to shape me into the young woman I have become and will continue to grow to be.
The school is considerably large with good teachers that care about kids learning the curriculum. The academics are highly advanced as they have the International Baccaleaureate Diploma Program. The only things I would say about this school is that sometimes they can't cater to their student body appropriately in that realizing kids would not pay for certain items. Also, their after-school events deserve more advertisements and support from the faculty.
