The kids were really nice and my friends and I weren't bullied, but they were super clique-y, at least in my grade. There was definitely a social hierarchy and an air of "I'm better than you," especially in eighth grade when all the kids who got into Manual thought they were better than everyone else. But I had a good small group of friends who stuck together with me for all three years and I'm still friends with them to this day. Hopefully your grade won't be too clique-y.
This will be my last year attending Noe, I'm sad to say that as I love the school, with all the hardships this year has brought, the teachers are doing amazing! The after school activities are fun, in the Beta Club we organize and share the services we can to to the city and school to one another. The teachers and administration are amazing people and if someone is confused they are sure to help. Would 10/10 recommend going here!
I transferred to Noe middle in the 7th grade. Noe made me feel welcome and helped me figure my way around the huge building. I feel like when it comes to teachers some of their rules arw odd but they really do care about the students. I had went to the academy at shawnee before and their academics were way too easy and the school itself is a bad environment. But Noes academics challenge me in a good way. I would recommend sending your child to noe.
In Noe Middle School the teachers were all in good intent, although they weren’t all effective the teachers who did help were great. The school experience was not amazing but It got the job done.
At Noe I made some pretty good friends. I´m still going here but it´s my last year in this school. Sixth grade was of course rough, but I was in a ¨Dumb Class¨. ( Which is also called ¨normal class¨ but i don´t believe that). But when I got into Ap classes, It of course got harder but it was so worth it. You should come to this school since of big diversity and there will definitely be something for you! :)
my Asian parents forced me to come to this school. they said "if you don't get in im gonna whoop you" i mean it was okay i guess. i made some "good" friends. just kidding some were fake. make sure that you don't make those kinds of friends or else you end up like me. i got my very first B and i had multiple sleepless nights and i didn't tell my parents because i cried about it at night
It was very good and the programs are amazing. The arts programs are very good and you definitely get all tools and opportunities to learn the best of your ability. I would like there to be a little more opportunity for after school learning and after school extracurricular clubs.
My time at Noe was great overall. I met a bunch of new people and friends, learned more than I had ever dreamed of, and discovered what I wanted to do. I would like to see the teachers be more strict on disruptive students so that they cannot take away from others learning.
While attending Noe probably helped me get into the high school of my choice, I was never fully content with the learning environment and, especially in my sixth grade classes, was miserable because I was placed in classes and forced to work with kids who slowed down everyone else's learning. There were many behavioral problems at Noe, and several incidents have occurred that have given it a bad reputation, but overall I don't think I would've attended a different middle school. So far, I have made a smooth transition to high school that some of my peers who didn't attend Noe have not made. Also, it is fairly easy to get involved here and most of the teachers really do care about you.
i didnt really partake in sports and fitness so i wouldnt know
the school as MANY MANY different races and religions
the teachers take the time out to help students
personal safety was the main goal of the school and any issue students had was immediately taken care of.
