Nobles is a special place rich with tradition, oozing with school pride, and steadfast in strong community principles. I feel so fortunate to have spent my high school life in such a place where I was accepted, encouraged and challenged all in perfect harmony. The teachers are happy to be there too--they are also encouraged to challenge themselves and develop as educators and that is clear in the way they immerse themselves in their curriculum and their afternoon program duties. I love nobles more than words can share--could not recommend it more!
Review Noble & Greenough School
I regretted coming to Nobles and wish I had chosen a different prep school to attend. Facilities are top notch, but underneath the shiny veneer is a closed cliquish culture that breeds elitism, conformity and entitlement. I'm sure the school is a great match for some, but it was not for me. Some teachers were very good, others absolutely horrible. I am grateful that Nobles helped me get into a very good college, but I found myself ill prepared for undergraduate studies. Two advanced graduate degrees later, I look back at my college experience, rather than my time at Nobles, with fondness.
Nobles is an amazing place that is filled with ambitious, intelligent, and very talented students as well as teachers who care deeply and are very good at their jobs not only as teachers but as mentors too. Athletics are amazing, resources are great, but the sense of community is the most important part of the school. The support system is evident to anyone who visits campus, and it is available to every single member of our very special community. With such a talented core of students it can be difficult to find one's place; however, balance between sports, arts, and academics is very manageable and it has made my experience incredibly fulfilling and fun.
