It was pretty good, some teachers were excellent, while others weren't. This school can be improved by increasing STEM classes and increasing the difficulty of the honors courses. Another way to make the school better is to increase the STEM clubs, and stop discrimination against those who are different. Overall, the school was good.

There isn't a whole lot of cultural diversity in SW Missouri, so it's difficult to rank that area. When there are culturally diverse students, I feel like there is a general acceptance. The school respects individuals with various backgrounds, and does teach cultural diversity through curriculum and extracurricular trips to various parts of both the US and the world. The Spanish and French clubs are very active and promote those cultures in the school.
The teachers are great and really want your kids to succeed. They will make every effort to accommodate your schedule for meetings or tutoring sessions if necessary. The music and athletic programs are outstanding, and the opportunities for kids to excel is there for the taking. The junior high is one of the older buildings in the school system, but it is currently being improved upon. The traffic getting in and out is a nightmare, but the district is doing the best they can with the roads and location.
