I personally like the school. I have had great teachers who I have been able to connect with and help me. We have a great performing arts and media program that I enjoy and I am able to take AP classes with out paying for them. However, there is much that needs to be improved. There are fights every day, students are treated like prisoners, if you're not in AP or honors classes then you often aren't cared about by teachers, and the food is so bad that students often don't eat. So although I like the school I know there is much that needs to be improved and we need to regain our sense of community and earn a better reputation for ourselves.

Teachers are there for you, pushing you for success and really looking for you to achieve what the highest level you may not even know you are capable of, but due to the city atmosphere and the progression of the school system as a whole, high school students can sometimes be stifled in their growth and development, which I found happened to me for a few months. Still, they provide you more than enough resources to help you pursue whatever you may want to pursue
I loved, and still love, the environment that Niagara Falls High School gives it’s student. There is a place for everybody, from the vast amount of sports and clubs, to the amounts of classes we are able to take. When you want to challenge yourself, there is without a doubt a class that will do so. Kids recognize each other without even realizing, despite the fact that each class has about five hundred students. The teachers are dedicated, and want the best for the children they see as their own. If you love art, our school has every possible option, from studio art, higher level drawing and painting, printmaking, digital art, media productions, and sculpting, to the band, chorus, and theatric arts. Personally I have taken advantage of these classes, taking the most amount of art classes I could possibly fit into my schedule. I tell everybody that, despite our reputation as a city school, NFHS is one of the best communities for students I’ve ever seen.
