The school strives for academic success. Through this school, I have learned how to manage my time, learned how to give back to the community, learned many skills in classroom or on the field, and learned different aspects of life such as diversity, disability, relationships, and so forth.

I attended Newton Senior High school all four years of my highschool career. Newton is a great community and really supports one another whether it’s sports, clubs, or just in class. I made some great life long friends and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I have had a fairly good experience at Newton Senior High School. I have made several long-lasting friendships and have developed connections with teacher's. Though I was not in many activities, I enjoyed the environment of the school and didn't feel the need to be involved. If I were to do it all over again, I would most likely join more clubs and activities, maybe even a sport. Some of my favorite experiences were in the HERO (Early Childhood Occupations) program, where I developed my love for teaching.
