Newton County High School is a wonderful place to attend. The school provides wonderful teachers and helpful employees to further your education. One thing that should change, however, is having a dress code. Public schools do not usually have a dress code, but for some reason Newton County believes in it. Students in high school should have the capable responsibility of dressing themselves.

It’s a good school with a good education level. Most of the teachers love their job. I wish to see some changes throughout the school, though. Less dress codes, mostly. Most schools do not wear uniforms anymore, but newton country is 1 of 3 schools that still do out of the entire state of Mississippi
In my opinion, Newton County High School is a decent school. If a student wants to learn, then he/she will have a great opportunity to do so. A student is often lazy though, and he/she can be lazy at Newton County and still be successful in classes. One main problem at Newton County (and several high schools) is that many coaches do not care about academics. Many coaches are simply there to collect a paycheck and coach a sport, not teach and educate the youth. On the contrary though, there are some dedicated faculty that will go above and beyond to help a student learn the subject material.
