Newmarket Junior High School Reviews

2 reviews
In the Junior High School, students who are avid learners are bound to succeed with an overwhelming amount of support help from their peers and instructors. The teachers are very caring, and very passionate about their career and the subjects they teach. The facilities in the school are poor due to limited funding and a strong need for renovation and expansion, and the sports are poorly funded and managed, but academically the school is one of the best in the state. The school is incredibly safe, with a resource officer and an administration that is highly involved in knowing student affairs. Improvements that could be made include modernizing and expanding the old historic building, and allowing more personal freedoms for students, instead of "babying" them from the 6th grade into adulthood with arbitrary rules, and a sense of distrust in the study body from administrative figures.
