Newman International at Cedar Hill Reviews
Rating 3.37 out of 5 38 reviews
At Newman International Cedar Hill overall a great experience as a high school student although some may not like school, Newman makes it a good learning environment and also challenges its student with opportunities to become better every day. As a student at Newman I feel that it is important to be challenged mentally but still have fun Newman offers many programs for example dual credit and college prep getting students ready for the future and what is to come. I love Newman and wish many that attend the school will love it as much as I do.
A few things that I liked about Newman is the scenery of the campus. Our campus is on a 300-acre lot surrounded by woods so we got to see a lot of wildlife and enjoy the beauty of nature. I also liked the softball program at my school. The coach was fantastic and taught me so much about the game, prepared me for life, and my teammates became a second family to me. Some changes that I would make at Newman would be for the administration to have better communication with students and parents. I would also like to see staff be consistent with handbook rules.
While Newman Academy International at Cedar Hill is a diverse school located on a beautiful campus, there’s is definitely a disconnect between student and staff. Teachers, Faculty, and heads have little experience and understand of their students or education system. Although this school definitely needs a lot more work, I can say I graduated Cum Laude and made some never ending friendships.
