Newman International Academy was a overall great experience for me. It is full of people who are cheerful and are willing to help you. Newman is a small school and that is what I like about it most! You know everyone in school and its easier to connect with the teachers and students. You get more one on one help from teachers because they know their students very well and always make sure they are doing well personally and academically. We also have an event every Tuesday that's called powow and that's when a teacher or student talks about something that can be used to help us in our lives. They've talked about things such as hope, unity, love, integrity, peace, and a lot more. Powow has been a big help for me because it teaches me how to handle things and it gives me inspiration to use each of those traits in the correct way. I personally enjoy going to Newman and feel welcomed everyday by my friends and teachers. Overall I believe it is a great place for a child's education!
Newman International Academy is overall a really great school. The people and the environment are both of the things that make the school so much better. Everyone I've met there has made such a big impact in my life; they've all helped me whenever I needed them most. On the other hand, the environment is also great. Though, sometimes I wish the people there weren't as judgy as others are, which makes both the environment and the people not be as healthy as I wish it could be. Overall, it's a great school with great opportunities.
They sports are very good! I have earned two state rings in cheer and track. I wish they would have more room for students before I accepting them into the school, so it would not be as crowded.
