Newman Catholic High School Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 42 reviews
I really enjoyed the small school experience. You have a lot of close friends and everyone knows each other. There isn’t a lot of cliques like there are in the bigger high schools. Everyone knows everyone’s name. The class size always stays small which makes learning much easier. It’s also easier with the small class sizes to get help from a teacher if needed. Having 6th through 12th grade in one school also gives you the opportunity as you get older to help out the younger kids that may be struggling. I really can’t think of anything off the top of my head that I would change about the school or my high school experience. Overall it was a great time!
Newman Catholic has changed me in multiple ways: as a person and as a christian. I have become more responsible and more involved in my community. Newman Catholic pushes students to become more engaged in school and community activities. The staff is excellent making sure each student is reaching their full potential academically and athletically, and that is why this school has a higher academic rating than most schools in the Wausau area. Also, two Newman Catholic sports teams have made it to state in the 2019-2020 school year. Overall, Newman Catholic is a great school for academics and personal improvement.
I really appreciated how safe the environment was. There was never a time where I felt something bad was going to happen or that students were threats. Everyone knows everyone which is quite nice.
