Our teachers are not only highly qualified, but continue to learn in order to be better teachers. They are caring and friendly as well as consistent in grading/classroom. They have open communication with parents and each other.

We have an zero tolerance for bullying, we have health/safety programs, and are in contact with local police regularly. Our doors remain locked during the school day, and we have policies in place for things such as terrorist, weather issues and fire safety.

The extracurricular opportunities at our school are great. The sponsors (teachers) work with each other so that students can participate in several or all activities. We may not have as many clubs/organizations as bigger schools, but the ones we do have are great!

I would definitely choose this school again if I could do it all over. The teachers are caring, friendly and knowledgeable. The students are pretty close knit. It is a small school and contains Prekindergarten through 12th grade. Everyone pretty much knows everyone. Being a small school, students have an opportunity to do more extracurricular activities outside the classroom.

My teachers definitely go above and beyond any teachers that I have had in the past. They are always willing to help me learn and achieve more. They push me past my limits because they know that I can go further.

I actually have never had to deal with the health and safety here at Newcastle.

The administration here at Newcastle is very well rounded. They are very involved in everyday things. You can always see them walking through the hallways with a smile on their face. You know you can always go to the administration when you have a question or concern and they will help to solve the problem within minutes.

Newcastle School gives every student an opportunity to participate in any sport or activity that they would like to participate in.

I have not yet graduated but teachers have encouraged me to continue my education and believe in me.

You can choose the sport that you want to be in, the coaches are very nice and the school spirit is immense.

There is a wide variety of food at Newcastle, although most high school students eat off campus.

Newcastle High School is very safe. I had some serious surgeries during my time there and I never felt that I wouldn't be safe.

I moved to this high school after living in a larger town with a bigger school and I never liked the bigger school. When I moved to Newcastle I was instantly accepted there and I made many friends that I will have for life.

Newcastle High School is a very small school, the difference between this and a university's large population is quite a shock. Yet this is also a very easy thing to overcome.
