I love going to New Tech! They have presented me with so many opportunities and have taught me so much about being confident and how to do things in the real world. With a project-based school, I have been able to see so many real-world opportunities and work on projects that can help the further in college.
I loved New Tech. As an experience, it was always comfortable yet challenging. I attended New Tech during my Freshman and Sophomore years, so I have a decent understanding of how this school operates and what to expect from it.
The greatest downside is New Tech's core fundamental teaching style. The PLB system inherently lacks the ability to adequately teach its students most subjects. For example, a regular high school would go through topics of geometry on a weekly basis. Whereas New Tech would take up to a month to prepare its students for a presentation on the same topic. Naturally, with a PBL system, you lose lots of time. This can sometimes create a frustrating and stressful environment, especially for students.
I recommend any student who does not like generic schooling to go to this school. Projects and groups can be stressful, but usually, getting good grades is easy.
As an A+ student, I recommend not going to this school. It is very difficult to get 97+ in this school.

I love this school so much. We do things a bit different from a regular high school. Our big thing is we are a more PBL based school. We do a lot of projects that prepare us for college and our future. There are other little things but the staff is awesome, we do get prepared for college very well, the school culture is very fun and diverse, there are many clubs and activities, and an overall A+ experience at New Tech. We may not have too many courses here on campus due to our smaller size but we have a shuttle system that goes from the main town high school to New Tech which allows us to have access to more classes than the ones on campus. I am so glad I went with this school instead of our main town high school because it has taught me so many skills that will be very useful for my life in the future.
