I loved coming to New Tech! This school has given me so many opportunities in terms of volunteering, leadership, job shadowing, and education. The people are extremely kind and the culture is like a family thanks to the Networking Team Captains. The school is small but it provides so many opportunities to the learners on campus.

New Tech was a very good school. The teachers are incredibly nice and understanding, and the administrators are pretty good too. The academics can be really rigorous (there are no on-level classes), but the teachers are there to help you if you need it. We also learn many things about how to collaborate and meet your deadlines. Being responsible and respectful are very important aspects to New Tech culture. Sue to the fact that there are only around 400 students total, everyone knows each other and honestly New Tech is just one big family. Everyone is very accepting, whether you are LGBTQ, nerdy or quirky, everyone fits in and are accepted.
New Tech High has taught me skills that no other school could have taught me. I have learned to work with all types of learners, improved both my written and oral communication skills, became a leader on campus, and learned to communicate with people of authority. Not only has New Tech given me these skills, but they have also put me in real-world situations. I have created my own résumé, interviewed for a job, presented to Texas Representative Matt Rinaldi, taken part in a mock trial, given back to my community almost weekly, and been exposed to many more opportunities. This school can continue to improve by listening to learner suggestion and communicating with them over important issues.
