New Smyrna Beach High School Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 288 reviews
Well it's pretty much on me, but I have social anxiety and because of that I connected with pretty much no one. Having no friends made me feel like a robot on autopilot which wasn't pleasant in the slightest. But there was also the good times as well. Culinary for example was a class I looked forward too, hands on learning when it came to the Culinary industry. Art was another big one, a compassionate and caring portfolio development art teacher that would have us do fun projects and just be expressive through our art. I have a strong love/hate towards my experience, and not much will change that. But I can honestly say that I wholeheartedly am grateful for everything I experienced and everyone I got to acquaint myself with.
I am starting my senior year at New Smyrna Beach High School. The school has great opportunities with not only sports but academics. I have been able to get my Associate of Arts Degree through the program dual enrollment. New Smyrna has been great helping me through every step of the way telling me what classes I will receive high school and college credit for. Also, I have been able to participate in sports at this school and it has led me to great opportunities to make connections and also see what I can do in my future. Overall, New Smyrna Beach High School is a great high school and is all about its student's success and seeing them achieve their goals.
My high school is the best! So many great activities for student and no one is ever left out. The administration and staff are so caring, always willing to do anything to make sure their students succeed. The clubs are amazing and allows each student to be vary involved. We have a great student body government which I recommend anyone to join. As far as diversity it is pretty good for where the location of the school is.
