Overall, I had a great four year education experience at New Smyrna Beach High School. The administration is all motivated and eager to provide the best learning environment for the students. In my years, I have created many bonds with teachers, all who have made my learning experience diverse and informational. Every event including clubs, meetings, and sports games are always organized. The security is very good and I always feel safe when I am on campus or off campus at school functions. One thing I would alter would be more hands-on learning and field trips that pertain to specific career paths.

New Smyrna Beach High School has been the worst school experience in my life. There’s racism, homophobia, transphobia, and misogyny on every corner. Most of the students illegally vape, smoke marijuana, and vandalize every crevice of this school. In my years of attendance, I've walked in on a teacher and student having an affair, been threatened physically many times, and have feared going to school for most of my life. The faculty tries to give off the impression that they’re trying their hardest to make the school a safe place for all, but most have given up and caved to the truth that the school is too far from salvaging. The only positive things i can pick out are some of the other students, the lunch food, and a select few of teachers. However, the majority is atrocious.
I loved my high school, it was amazing! All the teachers and administration are there to cheer you on and help you graduate high school. My school is full of our Cuda pride and I'm so blessed to have been able to be a Cuda. I made some amazing memories at my high school, but also worked really and excelled there. However, one of the problems my school has is favoritism. I would like to see equal punishment on kids and not favors for certain kids.
