I loved my high school, it was amazing! All the teachers and administration are there to cheer you on and help you graduate high school. My school is full of our Cuda pride and I'm so blessed to have been able to be a Cuda. I made some amazing memories at my high school, but also worked really and excelled there. However, one of the problems my school has is favoritism. I would like to see equal punishment on kids and not favors for certain kids.

As a result of the foreign language program I was able to pass AP Spanish Language exam in 2015. The foreign language classes offered at New Smyrna Beach High School, in addition to being taught by an excellent compassionate staff, are structured in the same manner as language classes taught at the University of Florida through a combination of reading, writing, grammatical, and speaking exams. As I pursued Spanish to the point of fluency and continue to pursue Russian, I can believe that the foreign language classes at New Smyrna Beach High School were an extremely effective measure made fun to prepare me for college. I think a wise change by the school would be to appropriate more funds, even if just a small amount, to invest in foreign language programs considering most colleges today require consecutive semesters of foreign language to graduate it would be in the best interest of the student to better ensure their success.
This high school is awesome! It is a new, state of the art school with technology and a beautiful campus. It's also a great location, away from heavy traffic. NSB offers several academies, like engineering, medical, veterinary, law enforcement, culinary, art, and sports marketing. Students can dual enroll at Daytona state college, right across the street! The administration, teachers, students and staff are awesome! They have fantastic sports programs and clubs. We love NSB hs!!
