Honestly, not worth the time or money. Would not recommend.
But, I know that it worked for a lot of people, so I guess that it is just a personal problem. Politics got in the way of my schooling being actually enriching. Some of the teachers, staff and administration kind of made up for the catastrophe. I'm sure you know who you are! It just wasn't for me. I would have been more at home I'm sure at a bigger/ public school. Regardless, thanks for everything!

We are thrilled with New Roads and believe it is a unique gem of a school and I encourage families to come to Open Houses and Meet and Greets to hear from our faculty, administration, students and Head of School on the benefit and value of a NRS education and culture. I am hopeful and confident you will be inspired like we were having had no idea what the school was about--- and from experience, can tell you there is full commitment to the follow-through in the day-to-day experience.
New Roads School is a magical place. I went here from 4th to senior year all the way to college, and I am happy I did so.

My experience was very much a unique one though, for I went through the school as it was constantly changing. Heads of schools were constantly changing, but the magic was still there.

For one, it's diverse. Very. The only thing not really represented here are conservatives; if you're conservative, don't come here. The school is very liberal and social justice based, and the views can be a little extreme sometimes.

Facilities; So I left just before the elementary school joined. Classes are small, we don't have a cafeteria, nor a library, we didn't have much, but you have your friends and teachers that make up for it.

Teachers; some of the most inspiring, smart, caring people I've ever met in my life.

And side note; Math is an amazing department. Meeyun and Myra are phenomenal teachers. And the tours are NOT STAGED. They always caught us off guard in class.
