Overall the teachers go above and beyond to make sure we are prepared for the future. However, they really don’t protect the students who are being bullied. The students that are the bullies and get into multiple fights get protected. When the students who have never been involved in any fights fight back (after multiple attempts of letting staff know that they were being bullied) they get, suspended, expelled, and/ or arrested. After, having only 1 fight. But, the bullies (especially the ones who play victim because they lost the fight) don’t get suspended and get to stay at the school. Oh, don’t talk with the social worker (Ms. D. Lucían) she will have your business all over SciHigh. IJS/ Facts!

New Orleans Charter Science & Mathematics High School is a very academic. I transferred over to this high school and I've gained so much knowledge and opportunities. The environment of the teachers and students are friendly and nice. The teachers are very supportive and helpful and the students are very open and welcoming. There are many clubs and organizations to join. At this school, I was also given many opportunities to learn and help me decide on my major. There were elective for medical and engineering, tutoring, and internships! Overall, Sci High is a great high school!
During my high school experience, I have a love hate relationship with Sci High. If I were to go back and pick another school, I would still pick Sci High. I would pick Sci High because the school allows the kids to be themselves. The school is very opened to new ideas that students give to the administration. Sci High has also helped me choose my pathway in life which makes me very appreciative of the school. The school has many great classes that allow kids to grow interest in new pathways, which is probably the best thing about the school. My overall Sci High experience is very good.
