New Garden Friends School Reviews
My daughter graduated last spring and is now extremely happy at the College of Design at NC State. Going from a small graduating class to a school with 40,000 students is a big change. Her years at NGFS taught her to advocate for herself, how to manage her time, and gave her the confidence to be successful. We are so grateful for the excellent teachers she had and the opportunity to take dual enrollment classes at Guilford college. She is well on her way to success thanks to New Garden Friends School.
New Garden Friends School is a small pre-K - 12th grade Quaker school. The school is very inclusive and has a distinct focus on hands on learning. Teachers make a point of tailoring their lessons to students. The community is very strong and courses are rigorous. Although AP classes are not offered, Upper School students have the opportunity to take classes at Guilford College free of charge.
Not much goes on after school besides different athletics.
Violence isn't very prominent at the school so one doesn't worry about safety. As far as health a school nurse is not present.
This school provides a very open and accepting environment that one does not see at many high schools.
