I went to the high school from 2014 to 2018. Initially I liked this school, but the newer administration were rude to students. There are lots of electives and AP classes. My younger sisters go to the elementary school and from what I see they are in a much better academic setting than I ever was in elementary school. The middle schoolers also have the opportunity to take some high school level classes such as Spanish 1 and Environmental Science, which gives them the opportunity to take more elctives at the high school. I wish there were more social opportunities for the high schoolers such as more dances and spirit events, but at the end of it all I was just happy to get my diploma.

Overall, my experience has been mediocre. My school does not offer many opportunities to better yourself and they leave you on your own. I dedicate myself to everything I put my mind too, so I've been working harder to compensate for my school's lack of attention. If you are looking into going into this school, I do advise that you should be aware of there false GPA calculations. For example, I have had all A's (90+) throughout my high school career, most being within the 95+ range, and i still have been able to only acheive a 3.7 GPA.
Over the course of the four years that I spent at New Foundations, I have learned many different things. To begin, I learned about the value of friendship. I came into school knowing little amounts of people (besides those that came to the school along with me). I was then able to make some close friends that have been with me ever since ninth grade, and they've helped to shape me to be the young man I am today. The second thing that I was able to do was learn about the value of knowledge. In the United States, we take knowledge very much for granted. Many people around the world, would love to learn to the extent that we learn. We are challenged by those around us to become better versions of ourselves by facing day to day problems by using the power of our minds alone. This power of knowledge alone, is probably the greatest experience of my high school career because knowledge opens doors.
