New England Innovation Academy (NEIA) is the first of its kind 6 - 12 school for boarding and day students that uses human centered design to teach empathy as a foundation for innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership.

Our Mission: Prepare the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams and shape a better world.

We work with each student to co-create their unique PIN. Students discover their passion and Purpose, innovate with Impact, and prepare for what comes Next.

Students working on school projects in "the Hive" - the maker space arm of the Innovation Studio here at NEIA. The Innovation Studio is a multi-disciplinary design studio that teaches responsible innovation and entrepreneurship to benefit the world. NEIA has a beautiful campus, healthy food, and two libraries, two! But what really makes NEIA so great are the teachers, the curriculum, and my fellow students. Here it is cool to be interested in things and want to learn and ask why and how and then we all help each other. Everyone is kind and says hello to you no matter what grade you are in. We have clubs that are student-directed which allows the upper and middle school to interact and work together. We have a real community which makes it a really inclusive and kind place to learn in.

Our daughter is a student at NEIA; she just completed 10th grade. Her father and I could not be happier with this school or more proud of her hard work. She loves NEIA and is challenged every day by the curriculum. The Humanities program is exceptional; the students are so engaged. It is truly college-level, in my opinion. As a brand new school, there are growing pains. We knew this coming in and have complete faith in the administration. The space is impressive and student-friendly. We saw the new theatre/event space last week and can't wait to see the development of the new performing arts program. Our daughter was accepted into a STEM program at a local university this summer. In her application, she was asked to write about an event that was life-changing. She wrote about NEIA. The school day at NEIA is longer than some public schools, 8:30 to 4:30; we see that as a plus. The administration is focused on college readiness and is clearly dedicated to helping every student succeed.

NEIA is a wonderful school for creative and ingenuitive people. The integrated curriculum allows the skills of multiple classes to mix. As a coming sophomore at NEIA, I find that this unconventional use of skills enables them to be strengthened far past a level achieved by a standard system. I have grown incredibly in only 1 year at this school and highly recommend this school for highly creative people looking for more opportunities to express themselves.
