It was okay. I liked that atmosphere of being at a small school being allowed to take part in sports and activities I otherwise wouldn't have. My class wasn't liked in this school, and they never gave us a chance to change that. We were always considered a lost cause when all we truly wanted was someone to relate to us and look into our interests as well. It got better as we got into the later grades, but the teachers can be extremely petty and can take advantage of their authority just because they were in a private school setting. The principal awesome and the staff is great and welcoming. Also, the school was really old and not up to date when I went. Biggest downside was definitely teachers when I went.
I have attended since 6th grade and one of the best things is the small class size and you get personal one on one attention from the teachers. They are very invested in your life and success as a student. I enjoy attending weekly chapel and that the class is like family. We are always there to support each other through prayer and activities. I would love to see them offer some agricultural classes including FFA. Would also like to see a home economics class offered.
The teachers are very caring and Christ-centered. The teachers, staff and administration definitely want to be where they are (for the most part). The facilities are older and dated, but that is not surprising considering the struggle to fund a private education on less than half of what public schools spend. Glad that my two daughters had (and have) the opportunity to attend here!
