New Braunfels High School Reviews
Rating 3.39 out of 5 349 reviews
The staff varies, with several faculty members being very prideful of their position, creating great relationships with students, and providing a safe environment for kids as well as helping them truly learn and develop. However there are a few concerns with some people such as inappropriate teacher-student relationships, teachers who say hurtful or offensive things about or to some students (rarely), etc. This school has a very spirited and prideful atmosphere, and a very strong academic standard among all grades. The average student is very hardworking and involved. Overall, this school is a great place to be, and involves great student life and involvement. One of the better public schools in the area.
The thing that i love the most about New Braunfels High School is that our mascot is a Unicorn! Growing up here ensure that your blood bleeds BLUE!
Every teacher that i have had seems to really enjoy teaching here. Many of them have been here for many years and I feel that says quite a bit about our Administration.
One thing that i wish was different is the actual school...it is old and outdated and other than what each teacher does to their room to make it nice, it is not very aesthetically pleasing. Maybe when I graduate from College with my Interior Design degree I can come back to my Alma Matter and redesign the campus!

I've just finished my junior year at New Braunfels high school and it's been quite a journey. From my personal experience, most of the teachers and staff are wonderful people who always do their best for their students. Although there's always some exceptions, the student body at NBHS overall is amazing and we all create a very fun vibe together. The experience doesn't come without complaints however. For one, I feel many members of the staff need to do better at their job and don't pay enough attention to some of the students. While I've been lucky to always find adults I can trust and rely on, some of my peers can't say the same, and I'm hoping some of the counselors and office staff can step up their performance. I think the best moments here have been during dress up days and school events when the whole place lights up with school spirit,. When the students come together, our school's pride is like no other. You just won't find another school quite like NBHS, that's for sure.
