The thing that i love the most about New Braunfels High School is that our mascot is a Unicorn! Growing up here ensure that your blood bleeds BLUE!
Every teacher that i have had seems to really enjoy teaching here. Many of them have been here for many years and I feel that says quite a bit about our Administration.
One thing that i wish was different is the actual school...it is old and outdated and other than what each teacher does to their room to make it nice, it is not very aesthetically pleasing. Maybe when I graduate from College with my Interior Design degree I can come back to my Alma Matter and redesign the campus!

I have enjoyed attending New Braunfels High School, the school spirit is great! I feel the buildings could be updated and they could provide more college readiness classes.
As a Senior in High School I'm faced with the question "What do you want to be?" or "What's your plan for the future?"
A unique opportunity I've been given in my high school career that has truly shaped me as a person is my Medical Health Career Shadowing Class. This class has given me the opportunity to shadow clinics, doctors, specialists etc.. allowing me to get a hands on experience helping and observing patients while gaining knowledge and involvement in these different kinds of specialties. My dream career since I was a little girl always was to become an Optometrist. This class has allowed me to learn what goes on in the everyday life of this profession. Having this rare experience has filled me with even more excitement, joy and more dedication in a superior way. It has given me something to truly believe in and has set my goals even higher and broader for my future.
That's why I love my school so much because of the endless opportunities it offers for my education.
