The school is one big community. We all come from different backgrounds but all share the values that New Albany stands for. The students are very helpful, although some of the cliques are standoff-ish/snooty (this is bound to happen in the stereotypical rich community). Most of the people that I have met have been pleasant. Same goes for the teachers. There are clear favorites, (Mathews, Braswell, Sycher, Milligan...) and there are others who are disliked by 99% of the kids. Overall, the school is great and the district is very compact which is a nice feel since everything is so close (like a college campus).
Review New Albany High School
The teachers at New Albany High School are incredibly knowledgeable! The teachers have great resources to teach the students. They are extremely engaging, and the students are pushed to reach their full potential.
At New Albany, clubs range from video game club, to Habitat for Humanity, and everything in between. Many clubs are geared towards hobbies such as ukulele club and american music club, while others are geared towards more serious things including SAT and ACT prep, Habitat for Humanity, National Honors Society, or even LGBT club. Typically, clubs meet only once every two weeks and only for a short amount of time. Most clubs do not require a high level commitment, and it is not often that students will switch out of their clubs after being in them for some time.

New Albany also has numerous after and before school activities including dozens of varsity sports, and academic and artistic programs. Some interesting examples include polo, mathletes, theater, jazz band, hockey, and in the know.

All in all, New Albany has an abundance of activities that students of all interests can participate in!
