I love most of the teachers, because the ones that care, care on an emotional level and an academic level. I enjoy most staff, cooks, and janitors. But the head of the school care more about attendance and what you wear over whether you're understanding what you're learning or not. I've had so many great memories there, but I wished it offered more and didn't take away character and color around the school so they could replace it with school colors and tiger heads. That is not representing us, nor does it give us school spirit. We aren't allowed to express inviduality in the sense around the school. It's all about sports, who has the best GPA, and attendance. They never express or stress people who are struggling emotionally or academically, excelling in another area besides sports, and encourage us to do as we dream. Not what they envision for us. The school experience is bittersweet, but I believe most schools are.

The teachers are great and they try their best to assist you, and help you learn but the facilities are poor, the students are uncultured, and the campus isn't diverse at all.

here are pro's and con's like most schools. The pro's are yes...there are a lot of sports, and clubs, and students can make their own clubs from whatever their interest is, yet these are not educational things (normally) but fun activities after school.

The con's: School Board seem to care more about their reputation than education, because we're only going to be there for four years and so why bother dealing with silly issues? This has always bugged me.
North Valleys has a lot of potential to be a great high school; however, all of the administration is focused on fixing the small insignificant problems instead of attempting to resolve all of the major issues. The academics at this school are very sad, students can graduate by attending classes and turning in the incredibly easy and pointless worksheets assigned. There are hidden gems in this school, but you really have to take your time to find the teachers that actually want to teach and genuinely care for their students and about their job.
