I like that all the students are considered and that there is always an opportunity to create a club that may be missing. There are classes in the school that grant each student the opportunity to learn more about what they potentially want to pursue in the future. The only low about Neenah High School is that the school itself has not been updated in what seems to be too long. The security to enter the building has been altered for the better which is good but bathrooms and classrooms need that same attention. Overall, Neenah High School is a great school that promotes learning and tries new things!
My first few years were a little overwhelming, but when it came to my junior and senior year, I felt very connected and enjoyed my classes and how they challenged me. I feel that I have grown as a person here and became the student and person I am today. Neenah High School may seem big, but once you get to know people and join either a sport, club or musical activity the school becomes smaller. Some of the classes that I took challenged me and some were very easy. I feel that the classes you take all depend on the student and the amount of effort they want to put in. If you want to challenge yourself by taking the CAPP or AP classes it's available. If you need a little extra help in some areas they have teachers willing to help. My overall experience was great at Neenah High School!
I loved all of the lab classes I could take and I had a lot of supportive teachers. There was so much to take part in! However, our guidance department hasn't been very helpful over the years and no one could ever answer my questions. I felt rather alone when I was trying to get any kind of college help or pursue independent education endeavours.
