Neenah High School has high but fair academic standards. They have an engaged teaching staff and phenomenal counselors! The school is quite large and at times, safety is a concern..

Their main expectation of you is that you attend college after graduation. Even the standard classes have an emphasis on your post-secondary education, which puts unnecessary amounts of stress on students not seeking a post-secondary education.
There are many teachers at this school that have a blatant disregard for the well-being of their students, yet cannot be fired because they're tenured.I had a few of those teachers, and no matter what I did my grade was less than sub-par, which brought down my G.P.A. and now limits the financial aid I can receive in college.
Also, the food in the cafeteria is mediocre at best and WAY overpriced for what you're getting. It's a joke, really.
Lastly, the infrastructure of the school is falling apart and there's very limited class space. The school has grown beyond what it can handle, yet the district seems to disregard this fact.
Neenah High School offered many academic, extracurricular, and social opportunities that I would not have experienced at the same level elsewhere. The academics are outstanding with top notch teachers who want to see students succeed. Additionally, the amount of college level courses offered aids students in getting a jump start on college credits. Moreover, the extracurriculars at Neenah High School made me develop a passion for Neenah. Playing three sports in high school, I learned what "Neenah with Pride" was all about. For me, being involved on the volleyball, cross country, and track and field team was more than going to practice and games, it was about demonstrating the pride for where I came from and the character that I wanted to represent my community with.
