Nazareth Academy Grade School’s long tradition of academic excellence is firmly rooted in Catholic values and mission to families. Founded in 1941 by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, NAGS is a premier private coeducational elementary school for children in grades 1 – 8. The school is located in Philadelphia and is accredited by the Middle States Association Commission since 1981.

The PA Science Olympiad comes to NAGS in a Battle of the Classes competition between grades 3, 4 and 5! Best of luck to our students as they prepare to compete in several categories in S.T.E.A.M.
Science Olympiad Team Winners
Our school was the only non-public school competing in the Grade 7 & 8 virtual Pennsylvania Science Olympiad in February. The teams competed in various STEAM-related categories and four teams won medals in their categories. The school placed THIRD overall of all participating schools. We are so proud of our students! Grades 4 - 6 will compete in a Olympiad Battle of the Classes in May!
