My son entered the school (PreK-4) with no prior knowledge of phonics or writing. He is now writing his name, and two-letter words, singing Christian songs by heart and socializing well. This was all within two months of him being in the school. I highly recommend it!
National Christian Academy is on par with the average public school. The values displayed, for the most part do not line up with Christianity. The school is run and/or operated somewhere between a poorly managed prison and poorly managed plantation with a spat of education injected. The administration fosters student disrespect to teachers in their approach to discipline.
The high school is a good football recruiting post. The former NFL player who coaches there has done a great job recruiting and getting looks for his team. However, most of the football players have true academic struggles that fall through the cracks. With an average class size being 20 students (some classes as many as 27 this year), the teaching staff (all of whom make less than $30K annually), simply can not, or will not, reach these children.
The lower and middle schools are adequate. One can be confident, particularly in the lower school, that the students are receiving a quality education.

It's a private school out in the middle of Fort Washington/Oxon Hill line. During my time there, my main focus was athletics and it was top of the state in all sports but recently most players and coaches left so that probably wont last.
