NSA is an extraordinarily unique school, it's unlike any other. The student body is very small, and it feels like a family. You are brought together by your talents, and can make friends within those groups, but it isn't like high school musical where the groups are divided. It brings us together, and we appreciate each other's art and help each other thrive at it. Its a support system like no other. Between the students and the staff (teachers to principal), its great!

My experience at NSA was one of the best. All of our arts programs are amazing. I'm in choir here. We have transformed from four years ago. More discipline and love for the teacher and art. We also have Visual art, Band, Orchestra, Guitar, Dance, Theatre, and Literary Arts. Our academics are very good also. We have a lot of different AP and Honors classes, we even have ACT prep. The students and teachers are amazing. I have never seen a fight break out, there's no bullying, everyone has their own groups, but groups aren't nasty or exclusive. I can't imagine going anywhere else for highschool.
I came to NSA my junior year for dance. It was a great choice for me and I encourage anyone with an interest in arts to audition. Their dance program is great and there are many shows throughout the year you can audition for. My only issues with the school have been disorganization when planning activities and some drama with students. I love all of my teachers this year and their academics have been improving a lot. Overall, I love NSA and i’m very fortunate to have had this unique high school experience. Not many people are given the opportunity to do what they love at school.
