Mustang High School is a wonderful school for students who would like options to explore different career paths. Clubs and activities here, from my experience, are so varied! There is something here for everyone. Even some core classes offer options for students wanting to explore exciting career fields, such as Forensics and other less common sciences.
If you like sports, this is a good place for you. Smaller sports like Swimming are often pushed to the side and go unrecognized, but I've heard nothing but good things about the relationships built there. And the student section is supportive to a degree unlike any other! Mustang students love cheering on their peers and even have themes for each week!
The arts programs are the most inclusive and diverse of the school. If you're looking for a group to call family, join Theatre, Choir, or Art! Everyone is a friend regardless of skill, and the teachers treat every student with kindness.

I really appreciate the variety of experiences that students can have at the high school. We have well funded arts and athletic programs as well as prestigious academic organizations including a robotics team and a National Honor Society chapter. Mustang High School is seeing a very steep increase in students. In result, the hallways and lunch rooms are overcrowded, making it difficult to get to class on time. For this reason specifically, I am very thankful that MHS got approved for a bond that will help fund the construction of more permanent classrooms and another cafeteria.
Mustang High School is overall a wonderful school. Wonderful programs, facilities improving and increasing in number yearly, and an awesome student culture define the school. The extra-curricular activities (athletics, clubs, music programs, fine arts, etc.) harbor some of the best student talent in the state, sometimes even in the nation. This, as well as the school's high academic status, is not without the direction of the great teaching and coaching staff. Mustang High School falls short only in its upper management, where administrators are detached from the students, and often make decisions detached from students' interest, and opposite the school's established culture as a whole.
