I've attended for 3 years and currently in 8th grade. I'm in all possible honors classes, PACE, advanced art, and the yearbook staff. I'm the kind of student who strives to keep all class averages above 95. In middle school, I’ve gotten about three times as much homework and I don’t have a single day of the year when there’s no homework. Currently, there are 453 students in eighth grade at Murphy. The teachers are nice, though every year there are teachers I dislike, as expected. Last year, I found a very passionate teacher who defended her job to a student. With watery eyes, she said, “You don’t teach for the money; you teach for the love of the children.” As for the principle and the councilors, I haven’t had the chance to know them very well over the years. Recently, the principal, Mr. Conrad, has been coming to the classrooms and asking about our academic work. I was very surprised when he knew my classmates by name, and definitely surprised when he recalled my name.

Well, I’m in this school and it’s got great teachers and staff and I’ve seen no bullying but I am still new so I don’t know the classes are fun and there’s tons of opportunities to join clubs and extracurricular activities I just wish there were more Wings of Fire books in the library
I liked that once you complete all requirements to graduate, you have the ability to choose whatever class suits to your liking and hobbies. The only thing to watch out for is that there are mean and bad teachers here and there.
