We specifically moved to Munster for the education system. Munster High School is in the top 8 of the best schools in Indiana. Munster was different than my old school. It had a very diverse population and a more challenging curriculum. The instruction is more rigorous than the average high school. The reason for the challenging academics is to prepare us for college, and as a senior, I can say I truly feel prepared. Munster also has a wide variety of sports and clubs. I was a member of the Varsity Cheer team, Color Guard, and ASL club. The balance between academics, athletics, and clubs offered me a wide variety of opportunities.
The one thing I hope Munster can improve are the consequences given when someone breaks a rule! If you get your phone taken away twice, they will take it from you for a week and give you an in school suspension. I feel a better phone policy could be incorporated. Overall, I loved it there. I wish I could've had a better senior experience.

My experience in Munster High School is great. I met friends for a lifetime and I receive a stellar education. I love the teachers and staff of Munster High School. The teachers care about their students and prepare their students well for college. The classes are rigorous yet exciting. Some things that need change is the building itself, I believe. Throughout the building, there are numerous leaks, and the carpet needs a replacement. My school is aware of this, and many renovations have taken place, but more need to be done. Overall, Munster High School, a top-rated high school in the US, delivers an unforgettable experience for students!
Overall, I am lucky to attend Munster High School; the school as a whole encouraged me to work hard and further my education in college. Not only are the classes well designed, but the teachers are informed and eager to assist.
However, limited technology capabilities limits the productivity of students and restrains virtually-engaging activities. Furthermore, during my time at Munster, I never possessed a true sense of what it is to be a part of our community. The school as a whole lacks togetherness and identity, making it hard to truly feel a connection or pride towards the school itself.
I firmly believe that set school values cultivate a positive environment, in which students have the ability to grow as a student and a person. I think with the addition of a core set of values and unique mission statement, Munster High School could improve the education of enrolled students.
