Mulberry School Reviews

2 reviews
The school attracts and admits many children with behavioral and learning issues, but has no support structure in place to help these kids, the way a public school might. The classroom teachers end up spending a majority of classroom time with kids who are behind or disrupting the class. Very little is accomplished and classes are performing below grade level. Enrichments, like Spanish and music, seem to come and go as they lose interest or volunteers to run them. Since there are no tests or homework (something I thought would be a plus), it can be difficult to know how your child is doing, or if they are falling behind. The concept of this school is great, but the execution is severely lacking.

The school is amazing and the kids learn to be independent thinkers and problem solvers. My child has gone through elementary and is now in their Middle school program. They have created learning environments that are suitable to individual needs. The small, nurturing middle school has made the transition into this phase of his life much easier than going to a school with 1200 kids.
