mount tabor wasn’t great. some teachers were really nice but you could tell they were really tired of their jobs. lunch was average, although expensive if you didn’t have free/reduced lunch. when it’s warm out, it’s not much cooler inside the school, and the heaters were constantly breaking so when it was cold it was either way too hot or too cold in the classrooms. people vaped or drank in the bathrooms, as well as tore soap and paper towel dispensers off the wall well after the “devious lick” trend had ended. the boys bathrooms were constantly getting closed due to urinating on the walls and defecating in the sinks. you could tell the building was old, i don’t think it’s been remodeled since it was built and wasn’t kept very clean, mostly because of how the students treated it, nothing against the janitorial staff. it wasn’t a bad school, it just wasn’t great either. my first year was almost completely online and my only normal year was 8th grade. there’s room for improvement.
I liked the teachers, but I feel like people from different elementary schools could have mixed better.
