Mt. Lebanon Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.98 out of 5 393 reviews
My experience at Mt. Lebanon High School has been nothing short of extraordinary. This school is more than just a place of education; it's a nurturing and inspiring community that fosters personal growth and academic excellence. Ranging from our WPIAL State champion football teams to our chess clubs and challenging coursework, each area of growth is equally emphasized. One of the most incredible aspects of Mt. Lebanon High School is its dedicated and caring teachers. These individuals are not only experts in their respective fields but also genuinely passionate about their students' success. They go above and beyond to ensure every student reaches their full potential. Aside from educating in the classroom, teachers provide valuable lessons applicable to our future careers and life. What sets Mt. Lebanon High School apart is an unmatched sense of community. There's a culture of support and collaboration that permeates every aspect of the school. An unforgettable experience!
I am always being told how lucky I am to be receiving top-notch education. There is absolutely no shortage of academic opportunities. There are infinite ways to push yourself to your intellectual limits. There are a variety of inclusive clubs and sports teams. Most of the teachers are helpful and understanding. I find overall, though, students tend to have poor mental health and limited free time outside of school, sports, clubs, etc. Also, the student body is predominantly white, leaving much to be desired as far as diversity goes. The building is well-maintained, and the food tends to be decent.
My experience at Mount Lebanon was great. The teachers and staff running the program couldn't of done a better job in educating the students on information regarding their ere classes, and events going on in the real world. Obviously the worst part of my experience was missing out on so many opportunities during the covid year, which effected my freshman through sophomore year. Though there are not many things that one could of done about the tough situation that everyone was brought h into, I felt as if they could of done a little better with the online classes. I do understand that nobody had ever seen or dealt with anything of that sort before, and mistakes will be mad, I feel as if the criteria was delivered in the correct way.
