Mt. Dora Middle School Reviews

The most unprofessional teachers I've ever experienced in life. I have had to call the school about a 6th grade male science teacher who was blatantly flirting with a student during a live classroom sessions. I also heard a 6th grade language teacher use profanity on a live classs room session. My kids get penalized for late work but the teachers can take two months to grade the assignment. My kids get marked Tardy for class but the teachers can start class 20-30 minutes late. Who is marking the teachers Tardy or Absent? I am tired of overlooking these teachers' unprofessionalism and nothing being done to correct their behavior. It has gotten way out of hand, especially when your kids verbalize the same things about the teachers. My kids know way better to behave the way these adults are acting. I'm in the process of transferring my kids to another school.
The school is decent. There's nothing too bad about it, but it's lacking in class selection and other things along those lines.
Nothing at all special to note. That's the problem. No communication from school to parents and many teachers seem to be going through the motions. Stems from Principal who is absentee.
