Loved attending Mt. Carmel High School! The school has a great emphasis on school spirit.
Very well rounded school that offers sport, music, and a wide variety of electives and our band is rated #1 in California.
Being involved in music and/or sports makes a huge difference in our high school experience and I had great memories because of my involvement.

My overall experience at my high school was overall a positive one. Being a second generator student of Mt. Carmel High School I entered with high expectations and wasn’t at all disappointed. For the most part people were welcoming, respectful, and glad to be there. Counselors were always there if you needed a boost and administration was always walking around saying hi to students and starting conversation. My best experience was homecoming football games, it is the biggest game of the year and all your friends are there, as a spectator the firework show and crowd are super exciting and seeing all the alumni down on the field really shows you how special the school is to alumni. As a player it’s even better, you have the opportunity to go out for your community and make them proud. As well as seeing past teammates and friends it doesn’t get better, even if we miss the fireworks. The worst experience was by far quarantine. Not being able to socialize or learn in person was difficult.
Mt. Carmel High School is an exceptional institution that provides students with an outstanding educational experience. From the moment you step on campus, you can feel the sense of community and belonging. The faculty and staff are dedicated to helping every student achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
