This year, my son is graduating from Mountview Middle School - what a great school! At this school he has grown into a young man we are proud of. He has been so fortunate to have caring teachers and administration, get an excellent education, participate in unique extracurricular activities, and make wonderful friends. Who could have thought that it is possible to get through middle school with nothing but great experiences and memories to cherish. Thank you Mountview Middle School!!!

Average or above average children will do well academically at Mountview. For children who struggle it will be the parent's responsibility to make sure the child's needs are being met. Although Mountview has two teams per grade there is none to little communication among the teachers on the team as it relates to the students. I was told they just don't have time. If you reach out to the teachers they will tell you how your child is doing but do not expect any proactive communication even if they are failing a subject. In addition they indicate that the student will get extra support but it is very inconsistent their ability to do so. I would think twice before sending a child who needs any type of extra support to this school.
Mountview strives to be outstanding, and they do very well in most cases. Around 50% of teachers are very dedicated to their work are are willing to give you one on one time. The others, not so much. The athletic activities are very good. Diversity on the other hand, not so much. Most kids are white and all act the same, most just trying to fit in. Overall a decent school but not the best around.
