Mountain View Middle School Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 7 reviews
Excellent academic programs delivered by caring educators and administration committed to excellence. The district has invested in technology and the facilities to enhance the educational experience. Great variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, many supported by the HSA. Students are well prepared for high school upon graduation.
I am a student here at Mountain View for four years now. It has been a fabulous experience all the way from our smooth transition from Hilltop all the way to eight grade! The teachers are what makes Mountain View so amazing and are what keeps the students looking forward to each day.
I was born into the school district and went to MVMS for two years before moving. I wouldn't blame all my terrible experiences during that time on the school; however, they definitely are part of it. I got bullied constantly, and the guidance counselors never did anything whats-so-ever. I felt that was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I even remember being told that 'name-calling' wasn't bullying. Teachers at the school have verbally and physically harassed me. The workload is insane and I can't even understand why they would give so much homework. It has prepared me, but I don't think the stress was worth it. The sports are not well managed. The administration only cares about money and politics. The clubs and activities are ok, but it lacks spirit. Not to mention, most of the students are stuck up and only care about their close friends and themselves. There is absolutely no diversity. When I moved, I soon realized how self-center everyone at that school is.
