My favorite aspect of Mountain View is its Full-IB Program because it truly prepares you for college. I was a full IB student, which constantly challenged me and made me always question my decision into doing it, but in the end, I regret nothing about joining the program. One huge result of IB that they do not mention is the very close relationships you develop with the peers in your class because you will most likely have a class with the same people from junior to senior year! Moreover, the MV principle is amazing, even if people do not appreciate or recognize it. D. Stemp truly does care and try to help any and every student if they are having an issue with anything.

Mountain View is both an excellent academic school, and a mainly amazing good school community. Teachers care about students and want everyone to thrive for success. There is something for everyone, even with not traditional programs. Mountain View offers both cosmetology and barbering for students. The school is very clean and the custodial crew is amazing, they are all truly sweet hearts and are arguably some of the most important people in the whole school. My only issue is parts of the school culture. Our school is predominantly straight and white which leads to little culture education, and maybe more ignorance than we would like to admit. No matter where you go, every high school is what you make it. Do not let my complaints mask my praise, Mountain View is amazing and I would not want to go anywhere else.
My experience at Mountain View was average. I liked most of my teachers and how the good ones appreciated their students and helped them with whatever they needed. Most of my teachers were very smart and loved what they did, they were good at their job and the students had fun in their class. What I would like to see change are the teachers who show favoritism because how do you expect your students to show interest when you are favoring the popular kids and only caring about the drama happening? How do you expect your students to learn anything when you are only worried about the popular kids and what they are going through? Also, some of the kids in my school are disrespectful and have a disgusting attitude to other students who don't have the same feelings towards something that they do. They need to learn that even though opinions may be different, respect is respect no matter what. Other than that I enjoyed my experience at Mountain View and I love the friends I have now.
