Mountain House High School is a great school with teachers who are truly eager to help their students. Most of them give great lectures and provide support to those who need extra help with material. They are very approachable.
The students are also nice. It is not very hard to make new friends and to find an accepting community to support you throughout your high school years.
There are many high school events and rallies designed to improve high school spirit. They include many fun performances and games that, although geared towards upperclassmen, are fun to attend and see.
Overall, MHHS is a great high school to be at!

Overall, MHHS is a great high school to be at!
I really like how there are a variety of clubs to participate in. For instance, during my sophomore year, I was able to enroll in a culture club, digital arts, health, and speech and debates. When it comes to diversity, there are a variety of people from different countries and I was able to see people like me who came from similar countries. The teachers were great and they really care about Mr succeeding as a student in addition to providing extra help or support if I needed them. In addition, I would say that the classes were good as well. We have math classes that teach advanced courses like calculus, math 3 honors, and pre-calculus, which prepare us for the skills that are needed later in life. One of the most interesting courses is business personal finance. In this course, I was able to learn about how to finance for my future, make the right decisions accordingly, and set goals so I would be able to reach them.
I'm an upcoming Junior at MHHS, and I think this school is very good. They have a variety of academic challenges and opportunities, such as Honors and AP classes (no IB Program), clubs, and sports. The admin & staff respect ur belief & culture. They also allow me to pray in the school office whenever I need to, so I'm very thankful. Some ppl say that the teachers don't teach, but they actually do. I guess it was from the older kids because the school was still brand new, but now it is 6 years old & getting better. Currently, they are adding new classes for the 2020-2021 school year, such as Chinese 1 (only had Spanish & French before), World Religions class, Creative Writing class, and more! Some cons include that sometimes people get into fights (ppl are mostly nice tho) on campus and there is assigned SUCCESS! (extra period that ur teachers either assign you to or you choose) for the underclassmen. Food's mostly for meat-eaters, so I wouldn't recommend it for vegans & vegetarians.
