Oh gosh, I love nearly everything about the Mount! Is it perfect? No, but it is very close! The teachers are wonderful. I came from a horrible middle school, with very incompetent and toxic teachers. I have ADD/ADHD, so I have had many difficulties in school for a very long time. In elementary school, I was testing for my ADD and was given some accommodations, but in middle school, I had none given to me. However, that was not the case in high school.
There is a program specifically designed to help those with learning disabilities/impairments, and because I was a part of the class, EVERY teacher knew of my ADD, followed my accommodations, and made it their priority to make sure I would succeed in high school. They have clearly done so, as I went from being an average, rarely motivated student to one who always tries her hardest, no matter what.
That, alone, should showcase how great the Mount is. Every student should be shown mercy, and they especially do that at the Mount.

When I first entered Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School, I found it very difficult to adjust because I was having a hard time making new friends. Before the end of my first semester, I became friends with people I didn't expect to connect with. When people ask me what I like about my school, I can confidently say that I love the community and the people who make it feel like a family. Students have a way of making you feel welcome, and teachers have a way of making you feel comfortable. I wouldn't change a thing about my school.
Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School is a great place to learn and an even greater place to find a community. With the tight-knit society in place at MSM, finding something you love to do with people you love isn't hard. Many students, an overwhelming majority, are involved in extra curricular activities. Since MSM is a college preparatory, this school offers many Honors and AP level classes. The only downside to being a rocket is the inclusion of Theology into your GPA, even if you aren't a Catholic yourself.
