I loved it at the Mount! It is a great place to grow, especially during the important high school years. There are always opportunities to become involved outside of the classroom, and there truly is an emphasis on faith-based learning. The academics are outstanding as well and have definitely prepared me for college and beyond.

I came to Mount St. Mary Academy in pursuit of a quality education, a stellar music program, and a school family. So far, my experiences with MSM have been very positive. I have had excellent teachers who have nurtured my love of learning while assisting me in being successful. The AP program offered at Mount is nothing less than extraordinary. The award-winning band program is also amazing. The most important part, however, is the family that thrives at Mount St. Mary Academy. I consider myself to be a bit of an outcast at times, however, Mount has helped me find a group of friends who have supported me. Despite the wonderful opportunities Mount offers, our status as an all-girls school results in us not receiving the grants and donations that an all-boys school such as Saint Joseph’s Collegiate Institute would. Overall, Mount has a myriad of benefits that I would highly recommend to anyone interested.
MSM was a small school that felt like family. The teachers were extremely friendly and often developed bonds with students that went beyond education. They were all very invested in the Mount and freely participated in events to make the school and environment better. There are plenty of events that work to make students more comfortable with the school. Many people I went to school with are emotionally connected to the school, as more than a school, but family.
