In a short four years the Mount became my home, the place I would feel the most comfortable and confident. I entered not knowing one other classmate my freshman year. Now, as a senior I can confidently say that I could name every single girl, friend, in my 2018 class. I not only gained an education that will benefit me for a lifetime but I found a community, my family, who will always have my back no matter what.
Review Mount St. Joseph Academy
I made some great friends here and had some pretty good teachers. The administration focused too much on little rules (blue tights over black tights, for example), and ignored bigger issues. I did feel really prepared for college, but I wish we had a wider variety of class options.
While a lot of the individual members of the administration are really great and helpful, sometimes there are unnecessary rules coming down from the administration. They can be strict sometimes especially with the dress code. While I was there we had two controversial policies instated: regulation backpacks and an annoying parking lot policy. I do not know if this is still an issue though as the administration is constantly changing as new members come and go.
