MSJ is a beautiful 4 year Catholic all males high school located in Baltimore, Md. The school was founded in 1876 and is sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers belonging to the Archdiocese of Baltimore. My time at the school was amazing as I formed long lasting friendships while also given the opportunity to get a great education and compete with some of the best athletes in the state of Maryland. This school had an amazing support system and family that constantly ensured that students stayed on track and had the proper resources to do anything they needed. Anyone who is interested in private school education for their son in the state of Maryland, I believe this is a great choice and worth the investment.

I had a great experience at Mount Saint Joseph High School. This high school forced me to work hard in school, which better prepared me for college. One of the ways that they prepared me for college is their eight-point grading scale, opposed to the usual ten- point grading scale. This forces you to work harder because you have to try even harder to get an A or a B than you normally would have. The staff always made sure you were prepared, from teachers checking up on you about work, or the counselors that put all of their time into making sure that we did everything we needed in the college application process. Besides just the academic benefits, Mount Saint Joseph had a great group of people that I attended school with. The school preaches unity and brotherhood, and at the end of my four years I could really see how the people in my class had become my "brothers.'' Mount Saint Joseph put me in a great situation for to be prepared for college and for the rest of my life.
The atmosphere is very welcoming. The teachers are so great! Helpful, kind and actual want for you to succeed. Very religious and firm by their beliefs. A strong school with strong men, helping build me into a better young man
