Mount Carmel High School Reviews
Rating 4.03 out of 5 154 reviews
Greatest high school in the world! All my family went there from my father, brother and nephew. I couldn't have been happier and it prepared me for everything in life! Mount Carmel isn't a school, it's a family and if you go there, you'll understand that the family is there for you ALWAYS! Any other Catholic school is a school and that will be proven when Mount Carmel, a 100 year old family succeeds for another 100 years and more while other Catholic schools like Br Rice disappear.
This school has an amazing community and is great for boys seeking a sense of brotherhood. Most teachers are great as well as the sports. Most teachers are very engaging and show that they truly care about their students. However, some teachers fail to do their jobs and can be very negligent when it comes to teaching. Additionally, some teachers are racist, but the school fails to address this. I would like to see a change in this as this is one of the biggest issues the school has. Is this school were to solve this issue, I would highly recommend it to everyone.
The fact that the school lives up to the mission statement. "enter as a boy and leave as a man". I learned to face my fears address my challenges. I made friends that under any other circumstances I may have not connected with .I feel that MC definitely contributed to the young man I am today! Dedicated, hardworking, motivated young man.
